Telepresence 2010

a.k.a. the Christmas miracle that almost wasn't (for us anyway). We were excited (and a little overwhelmed quite frankly) by the ability to see ALL (except for Elder Andrew Pierson) of the Day family this Christmas. Yes, I love technology...always and forever.

Behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, all the way from:

Provo, Utah: The Day Family

BriAnna, CaRina, and Max

Ryan, Gretchen, Cameron, and LaRae

Phoenix, Arizona: The Norman Family

Melanie

Maia, Jeff, and Tate

Gage and Hallie

Mexico City, Mexico

This is just Erin, but Ben and the boys were there for the first part and stole the show with their authentic native costume of sombreros and shawls. The boys were saying "Feliz Navidad!!" It was stinkin' adorable!!

Denver, Colorado: The Pierson Family

Shauna, Paige, Maddi, and Collin. (I don't know where Daren went, but Elder Andrew is in CT. right now.)

Bloomington (Chicago), Illinois: The Brown Family

Parker liked the whirly chair rides.

Avery and Maryn (and Erin) liked the popcorn and bottled water. :-)

Detroit, Michigan: The Jeff Day and Paul Day Families

Alec and Amy (I'm not sure where Riley went.)

Ian, Jeff (holding Alyssa Goldman), Hannah, and Scott Goldman, and Kathy Facione in the back.

Ma Day and Pa Day

Thanks again for organizing this fun tradition Jeff!! It's so nice to "see" everyone even though so many miles separate us. I think the theme for Telepresence 2010 was, "FELIZ NAVIDAD!!"

A Decade Milestone

Thank you Grandma Day!!

Thank you Avery!!

Thank you Grandma Brown!!

I can't believe it's been a whole decade since my little 5 pound chicken baby with the beautiful lips came screaming into this world! I am so grateful for Maryn, and I'm delighted to have had her in my life for 10 whole years!! We celebrated her birthday yesterday...it was kind of a hurried affair, but she didn't mind. She was perfectly happy and excited about her gifts. That's how Maryn is...she rolls with the punches, she laughs off the small stuff, and is grateful/appreciates your time and thought. I sure appreciate her!!

Happy Birthday Maryn--aka Martone Balone, Peanut, Chicken Noodle/Nugget/Dumplin', MEB, Maryn B. (that's what all her classmates call her). WE LOVE YOU!!
