A Mid-Winter Trip to Frankenmuth

The weather was unseasonably warm one weekend in February, so we decided to go and walk around Frankenmuth. It was a lot of fun--warm weather and cheese--what more could you ask for?

Playing Little People with Parker

After church time with Dad usually involves playing of some kind.

Eating at one of our favorite Mexican places in downtown Midland.

Maryn got a new coat with a "lioness" hood. 

I'm not sure what she's thinking here...Parker has started dressing herself these days and this is one of her creations. Not bad!

She usually gets some weird combination of these two names when she goes someplace new--I think she's celebrating their convergence in one place.

Yeah, it's true--finally taller than Mom.

She's still trying...bless her heart. At least the margin here isn't as great as the next pic.

It's a good 6-7 inches, I think!  Ave's got us all beat!

Sadie's Dance for Maryn

Since Maryn turned 16 she has been focusing her attention on dating! Her first date was in January with a boy from church, named Gideon, but she decided to ask a friend named Shane to Sadie's in February. She look super cute and they had a great time! They went with another couple and got dinner at Ruby Tuesday after walking around the mall for awhile. The dance was great, too!
