It wouldn't be the end of the school year without a Spring Band Concert, right? We are very proud of our French Horn playing daughter, Maryn!

Memorial Day in Midland
This is becoming a favorite tradition--we sit in the same spot on Main street each year, and look forward to the same floats and attractions. Especially the Dow High Marching Band! They rock!!

Midland Stake Road Show
Mark was asked to be one of the directors this year for the stake youth road shows! Even though there was much grumbling, it turned out great! It was so fun to see how he pulled everything together and how Maryn and Avery's talents were able to shine! Loved it!!!

End of Friday Lunches
Sister Barbara Ostergaard (our Bishop's wife) has hosted "Friday Lunch" at her home for the LDS kids (and their friends) who go to Dow High for years. She lives close to the HS and started it for her kids and their friends as a way to keep in touch and build community. It has lasted through all of her six kids, but this year her youngest graduated and the tradition ends. My girls have really enjoyed being a part of this Midland 1st ward/Dow High tradition over the years, and we were lucky to be able to commemorate it with a nice gift for Barbara from the parents.

Time with Parker Faye (and Parker's Field Trip)
I think Mark and I KNOW how lucky we are to get this time with our youngest girl. It's so fun to peek inside her world and see it through her eyes--we love this spunky thing with all our hearts!!
We were able to tag along on Parker's field trip to the Homestead at Chippewa Nature Center. It was a beautiful spring day!

Parker's Piano Recital
Parker has been taking piano this year from a sister in our ward, Kathy Holden. She's coming right along and it's fun to see her learn new things and grow her talents.
