I found the cutest little green sign this year at the Peddler when I went down to Livonia and it says:  "Luck has nothing to do with it, we are BLESSED!"  I think that sums up this whole St. Patrick's Day mania to a T.

Mutual Improvement Association Does Iron Chef

Nowadays, 3 members of our household attend weekly MIA meetings at church.  Mark was called to be the Assistant Varsity Scout leader (or Teachers Quorum Advisor), and so he and the girls take off every Wednesday night leaving me and Miss P to fend for ourselves (more on that later).

This particular night was a fun activity!  They did a combined YM/YW Iron Chef, and it was a hoot!  Wish I could've been on the judges panel...then again, after seeing the Mia Maid's "spinach smoothy" that was apparently served warm maybe that wouldn't have been as fabulous as I imagine.  Hee hee.

A Visit from Family

Addie, er I mean the Griswold family, came for a visit in February!!  Haha!  Let's be honest...we have a new favorite...she is just simply adorable!!

Valentine's Dance

Maryn had a stake dance ON Valentine's Day!  Can you believe the cosmic coincidence?!?  If I was her age and that happened, I would've been reading the signs in the stars that night if you know what I mean...haha!  Anyway, it was a semi-formal, so she got to dress up and looked so pretty!!

Daddy Daughter Dance 2015

I absolutely love this new tradition!  It's such a fun event for the girls, Mark, and this year ME!  I figured since everyone was going I might as well tag along too!  I mean it was that, or sit at home watching Parks & Rec re-runs...so, naturally I chose to be a fly on the wall of this super fun phenomenon and volunteered to help man the refreshments and craft table.  Win-win.  Dads and daughters dancing in a decorated cultural hall, a decked out treat table, fun crafts and games, what's not to love?!?

I think they are 3 lucky girls!!  And he is 1 lucky guy!!
