Winter Field Trip

Even if we aren't able to go anyplace exotic, we manage to have fun anyway! I love our time together no matter what we do!! This time, we took a trip to East Lansing and checked out their campus art museum, Chik-Fil-A, and Insomnia cookies!!

Family Time

As part of visiting Grandpa, we were able to spend lots of time with extended family. It's always so fun laughing and being together!

Grandpa's 80th Bday

Sadly, Grandpa had a stroke this year which has turned his life upside down. He has a long road of recover ahead of him. One of the outcomes is that he has to move to a more assisted mode of life now, so he'll be moving into another wing of Walton Wood where he can get more hands on care. In the meantime, he'll be in the hospital for awhile.

We decided to surprise him for his bday and it was one of the most special experiences for all of us. He was so touched, and it was the sweetest memory!

Sadie's Dance

Maryn had a heck of an experience this year trying to find a date to Sadies! The first guy she asked kind of ignored her and then canceled on her, so she tried to ask another guy and he didn't get the note, so she had to be really direct with him. It was all good, and they went as friends, and had a good time after all.

Grant is our Bishop's youngest son, and a nice guy all around. I'm glad they are friends!!

Daddy Daughter Dance

This is a fun tradition that I hope the girls remember their whole lives! Mark is such a good dad and they are his favorites!
